I was describing the salsas' tastes as people in my family doing certain things. One salsa was energetic like my brother. The other was relaxed, like me. Also, you always have to get all the flavors of the mints on your way out! Ha ha ha.

Mission Trudy's
I have been searching for the very best flautas for AGES ever since we went to Fort Worth. I think I have found what I was longing for. You have to love crispy chicken pull apart flautas. Or there's something wrong with you. Even my brother (aka pickiest eater ever) likes em'. They can be found at Trudy's TexMex in the Austin area.

Thanks for the recommendation, Mars! We went to Trudy's for the first time Saturday & I had the flautas - they were delicious. The waiter talked us into the flan cheesecake: "It's like if flan and cheesecake had a baby." He was right.
